I believe the start of a client relationship sets the tone for everything that follows. That is why my onboarding process is structured, transparent, and designed to build trust from day one.

1
Day 1

Initial Contact

You reach out by phone, email, or through my website. I respond within 24 hours to acknowledge your inquiry and schedule a discovery call.

2
Days 1–3

Free Discovery Call

We have a 30–60 minute video or phone call. I listen to your situation, ask clarifying questions, and we determine whether there is a fit. No sales pitch, no pressure.

3
Days 3–7

Proposal Development

If we agree to move forward, I develop a detailed written proposal including scope, methodology, deliverables, timeline, and pricing. I send it for your review.

4
Days 7–14

Proposal Review & Refinement

You review the proposal with your stakeholders. We schedule a call to discuss questions, adjustments, and refinements. I revise as needed until the proposal accurately reflects your needs.

5
Day 14

Agreement & NDA

We sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement (at no cost) and the engagement agreement. Payment terms are clearly defined based on our milestone structure.

6
Days 14–21

Information Gathering

I share a structured information request: documents, data, access to key systems or stakeholders. You provide what you can. I compile and review everything before kickoff.

7
Day 21

Kickoff Meeting

We hold a formal kickoff meeting with all key stakeholders. We align on goals, timelines, communication channels, and success criteria. Roles and responsibilities are confirmed.

8
Day 21+

Engagement Execution

Work begins according to the project plan. Regular check-ins, milestone reviews, and transparent progress reporting. You always know exactly where we stand.

Typical Timeline

From initial contact to kickoff, the full onboarding cycle takes approximately 3 weeks for most engagements. Complex engagements with multiple stakeholders may take 4–5 weeks. Urgent projects can be accelerated to as little as 1 week.
